TAMPERE SAINTS RY ORGANIZES APPROXIMATELY 1000 EVENTS PER YEAR, OF WHICH THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 30 GAMES
All this activity is run by a large group of volunteers who cover everything from coaches, administrative staff, responsible persons to general volunteers.
Preparations for the American football season usually begin in the fall of the previous year when all the activity is prepared – culminating in the summer games. It is precisely for these highlights of the season – the team’s games – that we constantly take on volunteers from within and outside the club.
The most important characteristics of a volunteer are being involved with the heart and enjoying the club. At games, volunteers do a variety of tasks, according to their abilities and desires, ranging from:
Grilling sausages
Running a coffee shop (coffee and snack sales)
Arranging and dismantling goods (fences, sales tents, etc.)
Running the bar area in men’s and women’s games (K-18, bar pass required)
Ticket checking Ensuring order (training required)
Chain (standing on the side with flags and moving according to the referee’s instructions)
Ball person (taking care of game balls, giving the ball to the referee or taking it to the field)
Video recording the game
Player maintenance
