MVP is back to repeat
Tampere Saints ja Jessie Robbins ovat päässeet sopimukseen kaudesta 2024. Kaudelta 2023 tuttu miesten 1-divisioonan ’most valuable player’ eli MVP tekee paluun joukkueeseen.
OC Dajon Newell:
”We’re very excited to bring Jessie back for another season. We feel we’ve hit the jackpot with him as he’s on top of his game in all areas. His knowledge of the game rivals his physical talent and his dedication towards improvement is why he consistently performs at such a high level. He improves our organization in multiple ways, but speaking offensively, we’ll be picking up where we left off last year with higher goals to reach this upcoming season and a show worth the ticket price.”
Jessie Robbins:
”First off I want to say thank you to the coaching staff and organization for wanting me to be back with the team. It’s really an honor and privilege to be coming back to the city of Tampere and being part of the Saints organization again. We started something special in 2023 and I feel that it’s only right that we continue on this journey and continue to build moving forward. That’s exactly what we’ll be doing in 2024. I think I hear a 2peat calling. But it won’t come easy. The guys know me and we have good chemistry. The coaches let me work and play freely and I understand the system of what they want accomplished so it’s the perfect scenario.
P.S. We need all the support and fan love that we received last year. None of this would be possible without the people and fans not on the field so get ready it’s going to be another great year!”

”Jessien uudelleensignaus oli yksi tärkeimpiä asioita hoitaa kauden 2023 jälkeen. Suurin haaste oli kuitenkin sarjaohjelman puute ja arvuuttelu kauden toteutustavasta ja aikataulusta, joka venytti keskustelut pitkälle loppuvuoteen. Lisäksi lyhyt kausi aiheutti oman ongelmansa pitkän sopimuksen laatimiselle, tähän onneksi kuitenkin saatiin seurana lisää paukkuja ja Jessie ottaa kesällä vastuulleen myös naisten QB valmennuksen ja toimii Saints junioreissa suuremmassa roolissa kuin kesällä 2023. ”
Tampere Saints tavoitteena on voittaa uudelleen miesten 1 divisioona, ja mahdollistaa nousu miesten Vaahteraliigaan kaudelle 2025. Jessien 1+1 sopimus kattaa myös mahdollisen Vaahteraliiga kauden 2025.
